About Gorji
Gorji Biscuit Company, established in 1961, is one of the oldest and most reputable manufacturers in Iran’s confectionery and biscuit industry. The company began as a family-owned business founded by the late Ali Gorji, a visionary entrepreneur who significantly contributed to the growth of both the food industry and the development of Robat Karim.
At the time the factory was launched, Robat Karim was a small agricultural area with limited infrastructure. However, the establishment of the Gorji plant brought economic vitality to the region. Beyond expanding his own business, Ali Gorji played a key role in supporting the social and economic development of the city.
In the years following the revolution, Gorji Biscuit Company continued to grow and became a nurturing environment for skilled professionals. Many individuals who gained experience within the company later founded their own small manufacturing units—becoming, in a sense, graduates of the “Gorji University” who continued the path of production and entrepreneurship.
